FAQ. What will Happen to the Operational Records of the Past when I Delete a User?

Question.
What will happen to the Operational records of the past when I delete a User?
Answer.
“Operational records” or “the Value which has been entered in User type data item” will remain in the deleted User name.

You might want to remove a Questetra User account (suppose Mr. Solomon in this example), when retirement, etc.
In Questetra, the record of operating of Mr. Solomon remains as data, even though you deleted the User account of Mr. Solomon. (It will not go blank.)

  • “Operator” in [Operation History and Current Status] in Process Detail
  • Value of “Mr. Solomon” that has been entered in User type data item

However, you must be careful when searching for the past record. (Process Search, etc.)

Although you can specify User in filtering conditions of Search function, only the existing Users are available for it. Please note that you cannot specify “Deleted User (Mr.Solomon)” in search criteria.
(You can still confirm “Mr. Solomon” in the Process Detail screen, even though you have to reach it by searching in other condition such as “Start date”, etc.)

In addition, when you remove the User account of Mr. Solomon, you need to specify a User who takes over the Issues in [My Tasks] of Mr. Solomon if remaining upon deletion.
